Cubs Win in 10th, Week 4 IHSA Football

UNDATED (AP) — The Chicago Cubs needed 10 innings to add a half-game to their lead in the National League Central. Kris Bryant doubled and scored on a bunt single by Javier Baez with one out in the 10th to give the Cubs a 4-3 victory over the Nationals in Washington.

 

The Dodgers knocked off the Cardinals, 9-7

The PBL Panthers are 1-0 in the SVC. They travel to Seneca on Saturday to take on the Fighting Irish. PBL Football Coach Jeff Graham says winning the SVC will be a challenge.

Tonight on WPXN it’s IHSA Football as the St. Joe Ogden Spartans host the Unity Rockets. Our pregame begins with Austin Burkland at 6:05 in the WPXN Studios. Then we’ll send it out to Jeff Pribble and Jay Eshelman for their pregame at 6:35. Kickoff at 7pm.

 

Saturday morning on WPXN it’s On the Sidelines 7:15 until 8am. Presented by Compass Insurance Partners in Cissna Park, Paxton, and Gibson City.

 

Saturday afternoon it’s IHSA Football as the PBL Panthers travel to take on the new SVC member in the Seneca Fighting Irish. Our pregame begins at noon with kickoff at 1pm. Jay Eshelman and Jordan Anderson will have the call of the game.

 

Then it’s  the Fighting Illini vs South Florida from Chicago Field.

 

On Sunday it’s the Monster Energy South Point 400 NASCAR Race from Las Vegas with at 1pm start time.
